On Tuesday (May 18), T-Pain took to Instagram to announce the new book titled Can I Mix You a Drink: 50 Cocktails From My Life & Career. Fans got a glimpse of the cover from T-Pain’s post with a photo of the cover.
“Years back, I got up with my friend, Kathy Iandoli, and told her I wanted to do some innovative shit, so this was a concept we had in mind for a while, where I could combine my music with my love of drinking,” T-Pain told Billboard. “She and I worked on this for a while, and then we both were busy with other stuff, then we came back together and finished this up.”

T-Pain played a major role in shaping Hip Hop’s sound in the mid-00s and he revealed those songs were made while he was drunk.
“I like listening to and making music when I’m drunk,” he continued. “If the drink sucks, then so does the music and vice versa.”
T-Pain will be joining forces with beverage professional Maxwell Britten to put together the book with over 50 special concoctions right from the mind of the auto-tune pioneer. Can I Mix You a Drink: 50 Cocktails From My Life & Career will be on sale September 14 but fans can preorder the book.
T-Pain has been busy on social media checking all the DMs he missed out on Instagram. He was astonished at how many people he didn’t answer and came up with suggestions to fix the issue during his Instagram Live with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

One of those suggestions was a feature where similar direct messages pop up to the one you just read, something like the feature that gives users a list of similar accounts to the one that they may have just followed.
“The reason we have the ‘request feature’ is basically to prevent bullying or spam and other unwanted interactions,” Zuckerberg said to T-Pain’s suggestion. “To be able to filter that out. Ideally, we should be able to figure out who the other people who might be sending you messages are who should get into that. The feature isn’t quite as advanced today as hopefully, it is in the future.”
