T-Mobile today announced that starting this week, all of its new or current Magenta customers can get a free year of Apple TV Plus. As long as you have or sign up for a Magenta or Magenta MAX plan, you’re eligible to cash in on the promotion.

The promo applies to any of T-Mobile’s post-paid customers on a Magenta plan. These include the Magenta 55 Plus, Magenta Military, First Responder plans, Sprint Unlimited Plus, Sprint Premium, and T-Mobile for business.

To make things better, even if you’re an active Apple TV Plus subscriber, you can still take advantage of the 1-year free deal. Just head to the T-Mobile Apple TV promo page to get started. The fine print states that active users will see a pause on their subscription, which will resume once the free year ends.

Apple TV+ is regularly priced at $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year. Apple’s streaming platform offers several original series, including the hit show “Ted Lasso” along with plenty of other shows and films.

For what it’s worth, the freebie comes right as a new season of Ted Lasso begins, but also as T-Mobile is dealing with a massive data breach situation where millions of customers had personal data exposed. That said, T-Mobile is also offering customers 2-years of free McAffee ID Theft Protection services, and you can find out more about that here.
