SZA has released a new song titled “The Anonymous Ones”. “The Anonymous Ones” is one of a few songs set to be released over the coming weeks that are taken from the soundtrack to the upcoming film Dear Evan Hansen, itself an adaptation of the musical of the same name. As Stereogum points out, Finneas contributes another song to the soundtrack, while Carrie Underwood and Dan + Shay also contribute tracks. In the film, “The Anonymous Ones” is sung by Amandla Stenberg, who stars in the film opposite Ben Platt.
SZA has been treating fans to new music of late; earlier this month, she shared three new songs via SoundCloud, and she played the fan-favorite new song “Shirt” on a livestream a few months ago. Elsewhere, she’s teamed up for collaborations with Saint Jhn and Doja Cat. Listen to “The Anonymous Ones” above.
