The suspects who allegedly stabbed a Bronx man on the top of his skull — remarkably leaving him with only minor injuries — were trying to swipe his female companion’s purse, police sources said.

A group approached Roberto Perez, 36, and his female companion, Paola Zuleta, 34, at East 125th Street and Lexington Avenue in East Harlem around 11:45 a.m. Tuesday and demanded the woman’s purse, according to the sources.

When the woman refused, the suspects began stabbing both her and Perez, the sources said.

Perez was stabbed in the head — and was captured in a gory Instagram video with the weapon still sticking out, apparently unfazed, as if he had just wandered off a movie set.

He appears not to be aware of his blood-drenched undershirt and the protruding knife.

He was also stabbed in the chest and stomach area.

Cops said the victim escaped serious harm because the blade didn’t penetrate his skull.

Warning: Graphic content

The female victim suffered a broken nose and a cut on the left side of her face, according to the sources.

Her injuries were also non-life-threatening. Both were taken to Harlem Hospital by EMS.
