The official social media account for the Undead Unluck manga has announced that the supernatural comedy will receive a TV anime adaptation that will premiere sonetime in 2023. The announcement was followed by the opening of the anime adaptation’s official social media account, the first key visual, and a celebratory message from author Yoshifumi Tozuka, both embedded below:

The anime will be jointly produced, with David Production (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Fire Force) handling animation production, with TMS subsidiary UNLIMITED PRODUCE handling series planning and additional production. Viz Media publishes the manga in English and describes it below:

All Fuuko wants is a passionate romance like the one in her favorite shojo manga. Unfortunately, her Unluck ability makes that impossible. But just as Fuuko hits rock bottom, Andy sweeps her off her feet—literally! Now she’s become Andy’s unwilling test subject as he works to find a way to trigger a stroke of Unluck big enough to kill him for good. However, when the pair discovers a secret organization is hunting them, it puts Andy’s burial plans on hold.
