#Nissan’s Ariya EV Comes with Free Charging for Two Years (but You Have to Hurry) – Review Geek

Nissan has released more information about its upcoming electric crossover SUV, the 2023 Ariya. Though it was originally announced in mid-2020, Nissan finally shared the sticker price as well as some information about the various trim level options.

Pricing for the Ariya will start at just $47,125 (separate from a $1,175 destination charge), and $500 refundable reservations are now open on Nissan’s site. If you opt for one of the more premium trim levels, however, your final price can potentially reach over $60,000 if you go all in on the extra options. There’s good news, though—Nissan is eligible for the full $7,500 federal tax credit and a slew of miscellaneous state incentives, which will help keep the costs more affordable.

Nissan is offering the vehicle in a handful of stylish colors for the Ariya, and you’ll have four separate trim options to choose from:

• Ariya Venture Plus with front-wheel drive: This option features an 87kWh battery, 238-horsepower AC synchronous motor, ProPILOT Assist with Navi Link, 221lb-ft of torque, a quick charge port, and it can reach up to an estimated 300 miles on a single charge. It’ll run ya $47,125 with a delivery charge.
• Ariya Evolve Plus with front-wheel drive: This one also has an 87kWh battery and a 238-horsepower AC synchronous motor, 221lb-ft of torque, a digital Intelligent Around View monitor, a power panoramic moonroof, and an estimated range of 285 miles per charge. It’s priced at $50,125.
• Ariya Premiere with front-wheel drive: This model offers the same specs for the battery, motor, torque, range, and mileage as the previous two. However, it also has ProPILOT Assist 2.0 and ProPILOT Park. It’ll set you back $54,625.
• Ariya Platinum Plus: Lastly, and most expensively, this model offers a more exciting array of power and features. It has an e-4ORCE dual motor all-wheel control, an 87kWh battery, 389-horsepower AC synchronous motor, 442lb-ft of torque, an estimated range up to 265 miles, Motion activated hands-free liftgate, and Nappa leather appointed seating. You can snag it for $60,125.

What’s really interesting, however, is that Nissan is offering discounted EVgo charging stations to the first 10,000 people who place an official reservation. You’ll need to reserve yours before January 31st, 2022 to be eligible for that, though, so hurry if you’re interested. The discount itself includes a two-year EVgo membership for free as well as $500 in charging credits once you actually purchase the vehicle.

Originally, the crossover SUV was set to first go on sale in Japan in 2021 and then later become available to consumers in North America a few months later, but delays pushed back deliveries for Canada and the United States. It’s worth noting that Nissan’s reservation website says “Reservations may exceed initial vehicle production levels. Therefore, Nissan cannot guarantee delivery of a 2023 Ariya by any specific date,” so plan accordingly
