#Sturgill Simpson Performs “All the Pretty Colors” on Kimmel: Watch

Sturgill Simpson appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday night (December 10), where he played “All the Pretty Colors.” He originally recorded the song with his band Sunday Valley, but has since placed a new version on Cuttin’ Grass Vol. 1 – The Butcher Shoppe Sessions. Watch below.

Simpson’s Kimmel appearance coincided with the surprise release of Cuttin’ Grass Vol. 2 – The Cowboy Arms Sessions. In November, Simpson released the graphic novel counterpart to SOUND & FURY, his 2019 album that arrived with an anime film on Netflix. SOUND & FURY is up for a Best Rock Album Grammy this year, a category that also includes recent records by the Strokes, Grace Potter, Fontaines D.C., Michael Kiwanuka, and Grace Potter.
