#Studio Ghibli Releases More HD Images to Add to Your Wallpaper Collection

Howl's Moving Castle

Studio Ghibli just keeps on giving, releasing more very high-quality images from six works from the anime studio's back catalog. Howl's Moving Castle, Whisper of the Heart, Princess Mononoke, and three more works feature in this release, giving anime and film fans more images to add to their wallpaper collection (or virtual backgrounds).

Princess Mononoke

Including the batch last month, this brings the total amount of high-quality images from Studio Ghibli up to 700 images, from films and works such as:

Last months release –

  • When Marnie Was There
  • The Tale of the Princess Kaguya
  • The Wind Rises
  • From Up on Poppy Hill
  • The Secret World of Arrietty
  • Ponyo
  • Tales from Earthsea
  • Spirited Away

This months release –

  • Howl's Moving Castle
  • The Cat Returns
  • Ghiblies Episode 2
  • My Neighbors the Yamadas
  • Princess Mononoke
  • Whisper of the Heart

Producer Toshio Suzuki, on the blog post releasing the images, asks people to "continue to use freely within the bounds of common sense." Again not confirming what "common sense" means, but hey, these images look amazing!
