#Star Wars: Visions Season 2 is now available on Disney+

Just in time for Star Wars Day there are new short films from “Star Wars: Visions” to see on Disney +. May the Fourth be with You!

It’s been almost 20 months since we released the first anime short films by «Star Wars: The Vision» got to see. Due to the good response to the 9 episodes at the time, a second season was confirmed last year. And today it appeared second season punctual for the May the Fourth (4. May), they Star Wars Day. While the 9 episodes of the first season were produced by 7 Japanese animation studios two years ago, this time only 1 company from Japan is involved: D’art Shtajio. Instead, other studios from different countries were brought in: El Guiri (Spain), Cartoon Saloon (Ireland), Punkrobot (Chile), Aardman (UK), Studio Mir (South Korea), Studio La Cachette (France), 88 Pictures ( India) and Triggerfish (South Africa). The short film by D’Art Shtajio was made in cooperation with Lucasfilm Ltd. (USA), the production company behind «Star Wars».

More international and unique

With a wide range of studios to choose from, even more animation styles are showcased than before. among the 9 short films of the 2nd season includes a stop-motion short film by the «Wallace & Gromit» studios for the first time. Each short film lasts between 14 and 21 minutes. In addition, there is again a 10-part documentary series that shows the creation of the new season (to be found under ‘Extras’ on Disney+).

3. «In the Stars» – Punkrobot («Nahuel and the Magic Book», «Bear Story»)
4. «I am your mother» – Aardman («Wallace & Gromit», «Shaun the Sheep»)
5. «Journey to the Dark Mind» – Studio Mir («The Legend of Korra», «Voltron: Legendary Defender», «Harley Quinn»)
6. «Der Rachetanz» – Studio La Cachette («Love, Death & Robots », «Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal»)
7. «The Bandits of Golak» – 88 Pictures («Trollhunters», «Fast & Furious: Spy Racers», «Schirkoa»)
8. «Die Grube» – D’Art Shtajio («The Weeknd – Snowchild», «Sound & Fury») & Lucasfilm («Star Wars: The Clone Wars», «The Mandalorian»)
9. «Aaus Lied» – Triggerfish («Zambezia», «The Seal Team»)
