#Which One Chicago Couples Have a Future in 2021?

The first responders of the three One Chicago shows on NBC Wednesday nights — Fire, P.D., and Med — pretty much have it together when it comes to their jobs (with the occasional hiccup). Their love lives, however, are usually a different story.

Sure, there are a few stable relationships — like Fire‘s Chief Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker) and his wife Donna (Melissa Ponzio) and Lieutenant Christopher Herrmann (David Eigenberg) and his wife Cindy (Robyn Coffin) — but for the most part, we sometimes wonder if some sort of 9-1-1 damage control is needed. The 2020-2021 season was no different, even if (or because?) it did see two proposals and a couple finally get together.

As we wait for all three to return in the fall, we take a look at which couples we think have a future going forward. (Note: For the sake of this gallery, we’re only including those for which both were series regulars this past season.)
