Higurashi: When They Cry fans looking forward to the next animated chapter in the saga won’t have to wait long to unravel the further mysteries of Hinamizawa, as it was announced that following Higurashi: When They Cry – GOU, which was confirmed as the continuation of the original 2006 TV anime and premiered last October, will be continued with Higurashi: When They Cry – SOTSU, which will air in July 2021. Funimation has announced plans to continue the simulcast and has also posted a preview on Twitter, embedded below:
