A new limited edition Cowboy Bebop Blu-ray box set is set to be released by Crunchyroll on April 4 in celebration of the anime’s 25th anniversary.

Titled as Cowboy Bebop – The Complete Series 25th Anniversary Limited Edition Box Set, the new release will feature a Special Metallic Collector’s Box, a “never-before-seen” 25th anniversary video, and five art cards featuring the Bebop crew as exclusives. The art cards can be used to replace the box’s cover.

Crunchyroll is also releasing a standard edition 25th anniversary Blu-ray box set that includes the same special features. The standard edition costs US$48.74 while the limited edition costs US$63.74.

Cowboy Bebop premiered in 1998 and ran for 26 episodes, with the main staff of the sci-fi action-adventure anime including Shinichirou Watanabe as director, Keiko Nobumoto as series composer, Toshihiro Kawamoto as character designer, and Yoko Kanno as music composer. A movie titled Cowboy Bebop: The Movie (Cowboy Bebop Tengoku no Tobira) that took place between Episode 23 and 24 was released in 2001. Both were produced by Sunrise.

The cast includes Kouichi Yamadera as Spike Spiegel, the late Unshou Ishizuka as Jet Black, Megumi Hayashibara as Faye Valentine, and Aoi Tada as Edward.
