BATON ROUGE, LA – When YoungBoy Never Broke Again was arrested in September 2020, he was slapped with bond conditions including mandated drug tests, curfew check-ins and monthly office visits. According to WAFB9, YoungBoy has skipped out on the drug-testing portion of his bond provisions.

The Baton Rouge rapper reportedly began complying with the required calls but quickly ditched his other responsibilities including the mandated drug tests. A representative relayed YoungBoy Never Broke Again — born Kentrell Gaulden — was slated for an office visit in January, but skipped it due to having dental work done in New York and hasn’t rescheduled since.

YoungBoy reportedly has a scheduled hearing in April where his attorney will seek to have all of his bond conditions dismissed. He was arrested alongside 16 others at a video shoot by federal agents on drug and firearm charges after detectives received an anonymous tip that guns were being brandished on a Baton Rouge street.

Following a vehicle search, law enforcement discovered handguns, rifles, drugs, $47,000 in cash, jewelry and a $300,000 check made out to YoungBoy Never Broke Again.

“They arrested several people and there was no indication that he had any guns or drugs on him at the time of the arrest,” YoungBoy’s attorney stated maintaining his client’s innocence. “I ultimately believe he will be found innocent in all of this.”

The “Make No Sense” rapper was arrested on March 22 by FBI agents after being pulled over and attempted to flee on foot for a short time. Police allegedly discovered weapons inside YoungBoy’s vehicle, but it’s unclear if they belonged to him. YoungBoy’s $540,000 bond reportedly hinges on approval from a Louisiana judge and if approved, he could be released this week.
