#’SNL’ announces final 2020 hosts: Kristen Wiig, Timothée Chalamet

“Saturday Night Live” will close out 2020 with Kristen Wiig, Jason Bateman and Timothée Chalamet.

The actors will be the final three “SNL” hosts of the year as it nears its end. “Ozark” star Bateman will host for his second time on Dec. 5 with musical guest Morgan Wallen. Chalamet will host the Dec. 12 show with musical guest Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Wiig will host Dec. 19 with musical guest Dua Lipa.

Like every live show with a studio audience, it’s been a chaotic year for “SNL,” after figuring out temporary broadcasts from various cast members’ homes (including a trip to Brad Pitt’s home when the movie star played Dr. Anthony Fauci in April) and a tentative return to the studio in October.

Chalamet’s recent projects include “Little Women” and “The King,” and he’s also in the star-studded “Dune” movie scheduled to hit theaters in October 2021. This will be his first time hosting the show.

Former “SNL” star Wiig, who was a scene-stealer between 2006 to 2012 and has since hosted the show three times, is in Fox’s animated series “Bless the Harts” and will next appear in “Wonder Woman 1984,” hitting HBO Max on Dec. 25.

Meanwhile, Wallen is getting a second chance since being booted as the musical guest on “SNL” in October after being seen partying in a crowd without wearing a mask.
