#Skeleton Knight in Another World Light Novel Series Gets TV Anime

The Skeleton Knight in Another World light novels written by Ennki Hakari and illustrated by Akira Sawano is getting a TV anime adaptation. A trailer for the anime, which does not have a release date yet, was released.

The staff includes Katsumi Ono (Hypnosis Mic: Division Rap Battle, Symphogear XV) as director, Takeshi Kikuchi (Ragnastrike Angels) as series composer, Tooru Imanishi (Super Cub) as character designer, and eba (Puchimas! Petit Idolmaster “zone of fortune” music arrangement) and Tsubasa Itou (Iwakakeru -Sport Climbing Girls-) as music composers. Studio KAI and HORNETS are in charge of the animation production.

Meanwhile, the cast includes Tomoaki Maeno as Arc, Ai Fairouz as Ariane, and Nene Hieda as Ponta. 

The Skeleton Knight in Another World light novel series began in 2015 and released its ninth tankoubon volume in March 2019. A manga adaptation began in 2017 and released its seventh tankoubon volume in August 2020.

One day, a gamer played video games until he fell asleep…and when he woke up, he found himself in the game world–as a skeleton! Equipped with the powerful weapons and armor of his avatar but stuck with its frightening skeletal appearance, Arc has to find a place for himself in this new, fantastical land.
