“#Sister Princess’ Next Virtual Live Concert is Set for September 23, 2021”

Soon after the first virtual concert last night, the official website and Twitter for the Sister Princess franchise’s 20th-anniversary project announced that the next virtual concert is already set to be held on September 23, 2021. The first concert was made possible by a very successful crowdfunding campaign, which raised 53,478,175 yen from 1,472 supporters, a huge 267 percent of its initial goal of 20 million yen, in September 2020.

The first concert “Sister Princess Live Stage ZERO ~Dream Ship~” performed by the select five sisters – Karen (CV: Natsuko Kuwatani), Sakuya (Yui Horie), Kaho (Hisayo Mochizuki), Mamoru (Yumiko Kobayashi), and Aria (Nana Mizuki) – was streamed for one hour for free on the anniversary project’s official YouTube channel from 20:00 (JST) / 03:00 (PT) on February 14, 2021 (No archive streaming is available). At its highest, the number of viewers reached 12,600, which was a huge success considering that the franchise was launched more than 20 years ago.

Details of the next concert will be announced at a later date. However, given the franchise’s deep-rooted strong popularity, it seems likely that more new sisters will join from the 12 sisters, and that is definitely what the fans are hoping for!
