# Sid Meier’s Civilization VII Gameplay Showcase set for August 20

Publisher 2K and developer Firaxis Games will host the Sid Meier’s Civilization VII Gameplay Showcase on August 20 at 1:30 p.m. PT / 4:30 p.m. ET following the gameplay world premiere at Gamescom 2024: Opening Night Live at 11:00 a.m. PT / 2:00 p.m. ET on the same day, the companies announced.

The Gameplay Showcase, which will be viewable on Twitch, will feature over 20 minutes of exclusive insights and deep dives across the new features and innovations of Sid Meier’s Civilization VII.

Additionally, the companies announced that a Sid Meier’s Civilization VII booth will be present at Gamescom 2024, which will run from August 21 to 25 at Koelenmesse in Cologne, Germany, and that a Sid Meier’s Civilization VII panel will be held at PAX West on August 31 at 11:00 a.m. PT / 2:00 p.m. ET, which will be viewable on Twitch.

Sid Meier’s Civilization VII is due out PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam in 2025.
