A five-minute trailer announcing the release window was also debuted, which introduces a new boss character named Shogun. Speaking to IGN, creative director XY.Luo said, “Shogun is a boss character who stands 6 meters tall. He uses the giraffe’s long neck to strike, and he can also fly, throwing his shield to attack the player.”
Showa American Story is a road movie-style action RPG in which you travel across America as protagonist Chouko Chigusa in a camper van and motorcycle, visiting locations such as New Yokohama (Hollywood), San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Neo Tokyo-4 (Austin, Texas), and Mount Rushmore. Along the way, she fights zombies and strange creatures in action-based combat, utilizing swords, guns, and various other weapons.
