#Shortened RTLZWEI anime program with better ratings

The shortened anime program on RTLZWEI seems to be having an effect: the ratings are pointing upwards.

RTLZWEI has been optimizing its anime block on Sundays for around a week. After recent weak ratings, this has been reduced by three anime slots; from now on there will only be one episode of “Sailor Moon” on Sundays, followed by two episodes each of “Dragon Ball” and “Pokémon”.

And the numbers clearly show why «Sailor Moon» was reduced so drastically: the series doesn’t get off the ground. An episode on Sunday at 11 a.m. had only dismal results 2.6% market share at 14-49. «Dragon Ball» Afterwards it increased for the first time to a slightly better, but still weak, 3.5% and in the second episode even to 3.5% strong 5.4% market share.

The standout of the day, however, was Ash Ketchum and the Gang: Two Episodes «Pokémon» recorded great results 6.4% and 5.8% market share and were therefore well above the RTLZWEI channel average.

The animes are available to stream on RTL+ for 7 days after they are broadcast.
