The Japan Racing Association has released a 30-second anime ad helmed by Shingo Yamashita, the director of the opening animations of Chainsaw Man, Ranking of Kings (second opening), and Jujutsu Kaisen. The ad, titled “Kyou, Watashi no Monogatari ga Hashirimasu,” shows the various professions and roles that are involved in horse racing such as veterinarians, farriers, and stablehands.

Hitomi Kariya, who directed, storyboarded, and animated Chainsaw Man‘s second ending animation (in addition to other roles), served as animation director for the commercial. Animator Tomoko Tamaki (Bocchi the Rock! poster designer) is credited as original character designer.

On the cast side, “Kyou, Watashi no Monogatari ga Hashirimasu” features the voices of Yui Ishikawa (veterinarian), Shinnosuke Suzuki (farrier), Sayumi Suzushiro (medical assistant), Ikumi Hasegawa (stablehand), Yumiri Hanamori (new horse breeding staff), and more. The commercial also features the song “crossovers” by Aimer.
