#Shame Share Video for New Song “Alphabet”: Watch

UK rock group Shame have returned with their first new piece of music since releasing their 2018 debut Songs of Praise. The James Ford–produced song is called “Alphabet” and it arrives with a bizarre, slapstick music video directed by Tegen Williams. Watch it below.

“‘Alphabet’ is a direct question, to the audience and the performer, on whether any of this will ever be enough to reach satisfaction,” Shame frontman Charlie Steen said in a press release. “At the time of writing it, I was experiencing a series of surreal dreams where a manic subconscious was bleeding out of me and seeping into the lyrics. All the unsettling and distressing imagery I faced in my sleep have taken on their own form in the video.”

Following the release of Songs of Praise, Shame recorded a cover version of the Christmas classic “Feliz Navidad.” They shared the track along with a festive (and rowdy) music video set in a tinsel-decked pub.
