The actor was spotted filming in New York City with lead star Rachel Brosnahan and the images give some hints at his role in the Prime Video dramedy. For one thing, it’s clear whoever Milo is playing has some kind of connection to Midge Maisel (Brosnahan).
The actors were photographed in several different costumes for a number of scenes, all in one location. Also in the photos? A cute, fluffy pomeranian and Midge’s son with ex-husband Joel (Michael Zegen).
We’ll have to wait for more details on Ventimiglia’s character, but it’s already exciting news for Gilmore Girls fans as the project reunites him with both series’ creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino.
Ventimiglia played a major role in the showrunner’s WB hit as Jess Mariano, one of Rory Gilmore’s (Alexis Bledel) boyfriends. The actor even reprised his role in the Netflix revival Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. He currently plays Pearson patriarch Jack on NBC’s hit This Is Us which will conclude its run with an upcoming sixth and final season.
