#Scathing video roast TF out of Tiffany Trump for partying amid the pandemic

People are now sharing what sacrifices they’ve made during the pandemic.

After Ivanka Trump failed to tag her younger sister in a heartfelt birthday post earlier this week, Tiffany Trump is now facing backlash online for her 27th birthday bash in South Beach Miami.

After videos surfaced of the first daughter and her friends partying it up maskless with drinks, sparklers, and sushi spreads, #ByeTiffany began trending on Twitter. Users called Trump out for turning up while masses of Americans have been missing out on activities due to COVID-19.

A video shared to Twitter Thursday by political action committee @MeidasTouch compiled clips of Instagram Stories from Trump’s friends at the celebration, juxtaposing them with news broadcasts about how the pandemic has upended most Americans’ lives. The clips noted life-altering events, such as the losses of loved ones and missed funerals. It also noted missed milestone moments, like graduations, proms, and weddings.

In the video, Trump is seen surrounded by friends as she parties the night away. According to Page Six, she was seen “in great spirits as the life of the party while sipping Dom Perignon and posing for pictures with friends.”

The hashtag #ByeTiffany began to trend Thursday, with nearly 100,000 tweets, as disgruntled users responded to the first daughter’s celebration with what sacrifices they’ve made during the pandemic. Many users noted skipping out on birthdays, gatherings with family and friends, and eating out—for their safety and that of others.

“This infuriates me,” wrote one user in response. “As someone who had family member die from this virus and having to sacrifice my entire life for the protection of my family and friend. All so @TiffanyATrump could not practice the same rules her own father put into place #ByeTiffany.”

The hashtag was flooded with similar stories from frustrated users.

Trump’s birthday celebration fell just a few weeks before Election Day, as coronavirus cases continue to rise throughout the country.

According to the New York Times, the national trend of new cases is “headed in the wrong direction,” as it is rising once again in most states after a short period of slowed cases at the tail end of summer. The U.S. has passed the 8 million mark for known infections, NYT also reports.
