“#Ryoma Goes Full 3D in The Prince of Tennis CG Movie Teaser and Visual”
Featuring an original story set between Takeshi Konomi's The Prince of Tennis and The New Prince of Tennis manga, a new 3DCG animated film is on the way for the series. As revealed during The New Prince of Tennis stage event held at Jump Festa 2021 Online's Jump Super Stage, the feature is set to open in Japan on September 3, 2021, with Konomi supervising and Hiroshi Kojina (Hunter x Hunter) directing.
Ryoma! Shinsei Gekijoban Tennis no Oji-sama will feature a script by Takehiko Hata, while Kei Yoshimizu serves as animation director, Momoko Yamada is CG director, and Patricia Hishikawa supervises the CG. Production houses include The Monk Studios, Keica, and Studio KAI.
