#RTL ZWEI shows “Dragon Ball” films as an anime special

Fans of the OG “Dragon Ball” watch out! RTL ZWEI will soon be showing three films from the first series on free TV!
Although the weekly anime block of RTL TWO is currently weak (we reported), the station has decided to get some anime gems out of the archive and will soon present us three «Dragon Ball»-Films from the first series, which were last broadcast twelve years ago.
Three classic “Dragon Ball” films just before Christmas
Am December 22, 2024 – a few days before Christmas – will be RTL TWO the three feature films for the first «Dragon Ball» show series. The regular anime program is canceled in favor of the film marathon.
Here we go 11:10 a.m with “The Legend of Shenlong» (1986). Afterwards it goes around 12:10 p.m «The Castle of Demons» (1987) and to top it off there are around 1:05 p.m «Son Goku’s first tournament» (1988).
The three films will each in German broadcast and are via the publisher Crunchyroll (previously KAZÉ Anime) also available on DVD and Blu-ray.
Anime program on December 22, 2024:
- 11:10 a.m.: “Dragon Ball: The Legend of Shenlong”
- 12:10 p.m.: »Dragon Ball: Castle of the Demons«
- 1:05 p.m.: »Dragon Ball: Son Goku’s first tournament«
