BLACKPINK member Rosé has shared two solo songs, “On The Ground” and “Gone,” grouped together as a project titled R. Scroll down to listen now and watch the “On The Ground” video.
“On The Ground,” dreamed up by a team of producers and songwriters including regular BLACKPINK collaborator Teddy plus Katy Perry/Miley Cyrus producer Jon Bellion, is described in a statement as “an intimate look at the cost of ambition and chasing your dreams.”
Rosé becomes the second member of the K-pop group to release solo music, following Jennie whose single “SOLO” arrived in November 2018. The band released THE ALBUM in November 2020 with Netflix documentary Light Up The Sky arriving soon after.
