#Rock Hall 2021 Induction Ceremony to Be Held In-Person in Cleveland

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced details on its 2021 induction ceremony. The in-person event will take place on October 30, 2021, at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse arena in Cleveland, Ohio. It’s currently unclear how many audience members will be allowed to attend the ceremony.

“Ticketing capacity is an important question these days as we move through the health challenges of our nation but also get reopened again,” Rock Hall CEO Greg Harris said during an online press conference earlier today. “Ticket on-sale announcement will be in July. Until then, we’re going to monitor best practices and make sure that however we’re seating the event, we’re doing it in a careful and healthy way.”

JAY-Z, Foo Fighters, Kate Bush, Rage Against the Machine, and many other notable artists have been nominated for induction this year. Mary J. Blige, Fela Kuti, the Go-Go’s, Iron Maiden, and Dionne Warwick were all nominated in their first year of eligibility. Last year’s in-person ceremony was canceled in favor of a remotely shot HBO special featuring the inductees.
