#Rewatch takt op.Destiny TV Anime’s Musical Opening Again and Again

takt op.Destiny

The first episode of the takt op.Destiny TV anime aired overnight in Japan last night (and started streaming on Crunchyroll!) and for those that enjoyed the musical stylings of Ryo from Supercell singing the opening theme “takt” that features vocal performances from Mafumafu and gaku, MAPPA released the opening animation on their YouTube channel, giving people the chance to rewatch it over and over again.

Yuki Ito (storyboards on Attack on Titan Final Season; episodes 10, 15, 22 director on Demon Slayer) directs takt op.Destiny based on the original concept from DeNA and Sakura Wars video game creator Oji HiroiKiyoko Yoshimura (The God of High School) provides the series composition, with Reiko Nagasawa (sub-character designer on Overlord Season 3) drawing the character designs based on LAM’s original characters. Yoshihiro Ike (Dororo) will be doing the music. The animation will be co-produced at MAPPA and MADHOUSE.

takt op.Destiny is streaming on Crunchyroll this anime season, which describes the series as such:

Music is the light that illuminates people’s hearts– and that “light” was suddenly taken from the world. The world changed the night the black “Kuroya Meteorite” fell. Grotesque monsters known as D2 emerged from the meteorite and began to overrun the land and people. As the D2 were drawn to melodies people played, eventually “music” itself became taboo. However, those who opposed the monsters appeared. They the “Musicart,” girls who draw power from music. They possess the great operas and musical scores of humanity history and use them to defeat the D2.
