“#Polyband licenses 23rd “Pokémon” film + other seasons“

In a podcast it was announced that the latest “Pokémon” film and other seasons of the TV series had been secured!

The Product & Marketing Manager at Polyband, Matthias Süß, announced in the “Meow exactly” podcast that the publisher has secured the rights to the latest film in the “Pokémon” series. According to Süß, “Pokémon – The Movie: Secrets of the Jungle” is expected to appear on disc in April 2022. However, he was unable to elicit further information about the release.

It was also announced that Polyband will also release seasons four and five on DVD this year.

“Pokémon – Season 4: The Johto League Champions” will be released on September 24th. “Pokémon – Season 5: Master Quest” should then follow two months later, on November 26th. It is currently unclear whether further seasons will be released on disc.

At the end of May, the third season of the TV series “Die Johto Reisen” was released on DVD (Order here).
