KADOKAWA announced that it will release Restaurant to Another World New Edition (Isekai Shokudō ~Yōshoku no Nekoya~) manga series illustrated by Morozawa Yamizawa on BOOK WALKER beginning September 29. The newest manga adaptation is based on the light novel of the same title written by Junpei Inuzuka and illustrated by Katsumi Enami.
The manga series will catch up in serailization with Japan. Another manga adaptation was released by Square Enix, but completed in June 2019.
The anime’s first season premiered in July 2017. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired with subtitles while Funimation streamed it with an English dub. Crunchyroll is set to stream the second season in October 2021.

There is a certain restaurant in the first basement level of a multi-tenant building in one corner of a shopping street near the office district. The historical restaurant, marked by a sign with a picture of a cat, is called “Western Cuisine Nekoya.” This restaurant looks completely normal through the week, but on Saturdays, it opens in secret exclusively to some very unique guests. During these hours, doors in various areas of a parallel world open to allow customers of many different races and cultures into the restaurant.
