In 2020, PG County, Maryland rapper redveil shared Niagara, a 24-minute project with the tenderness of a coming-of-age story. Beneath the crackling drums and warm soulful loops of Niagara was a young rapper in the middle of honing his world-weary narratives and trying to grow past his influences as a writer. Today, redveil has shared a new self-produced song, “diving board.” Check out the Manny Madrigal-directed video below.

This spring, redveil will be supporting Freddie Gibbs’ Space Rabbit tour for a select number of dates before joining Denzel Curry’s MELT MY EYEZ, SEE YOUR FUTURE tour. Redveil’s last full-length release was 2020’s Niagara. In 2019, he shared his debut project Bittersweet Cry.
