Warner Bros. Japan released an updated PV trailer featuring character dialogue for Record of Ragnarok Season 2. The updated trailer revealed new cast members: Tomokazu Sugita as Jack the Ripper, Katsuyuki Konishi as Hercules, Subaru Kimura as Raiden Tameemon, and Yuichi Nakamura as Buddha. 

Record of Ragnarok Season 2 is directed by Masao Okubo with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu as series composer and Masaki Satou as character designer. Yuka Yamada (Slow Loop series composer) is joining as co-series composer. Additionally, the new season is a co-production between the first season’s Graphinica and Yumeta Company. The second season is scheduled for 2023 on Netflix.
