#Ralph Lauren and MLB team up for a second fashion collab

Ralph Lauren’s prestigious sporting partnerships already include the Olympics, Wimbledon and the US Open, so it’s only fitting that the latest collab on the all-American designer’s roster is America’s pastime itself.

Following an inaugural collection this spring, Ralph Lauren and Major League Baseball are batting 1,000 for fall, with a new limited-edition capsule featuring three of the sport’s most-venerated teams — the Yankees, Dodgers and Red Sox.

The collaboration was born from Mr. Lauren’s lifelong love of the game (he’s even taken to the mound to throw a ceremonial first pitch for the Yankees), and combines his signature style with the iconography of some of MLB’s favorite franchises. 

Fans can get their mitts on exclusive items from caps ($89.50) to wool-and-leather baseball jackets ($898), all featuring a fashion-forward black-on-black take on the teams’ logos.

The collection drops Oct. 7 on The Polo App and select specialty stores — every item is limited edition, so make sure to score your favorites fast, or risk striking out.
