#Rakuten Panda! Reveals New Key Visual Featuring Main Characters
A new key visual has been revealed for the upcoming Rakuten Panda! TV anime series, which will begin broadcasting in Japan on November 6, 2024. The latest visual showcases the series’ main characters flying around with many items.
The anime features Rakuten’s official shopping and marketplace mascot Okaimono Panda as the lead character.
Shinji Takamatsu (Astro Note chief director, Helck sound director) is directing the anime, with Higashi Shimizu (Sazae-san, Doraemon film series) as series screenwriter, and Yasue Sosogi as character designer. Shin-Ei Animation is handling the animation production for the series.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:
- • Ikue Otani as Okaimono Panda
- • Neeko as Kopanda
- • Ayumu Murase as Puchomaru
- • Yuria Nara as Mugi
Otani reprises her lead voice role from previous Rakuten television commercials featuring her character.
Okaimono Panda follows the everyday life of the titular character, who is a bit of a shopaholic that sometimes gets them into trouble.
