“ProSieben MAXX brings “Demon Slayer” back to German television

The Shonen hit from Japan will soon be flickering across German screens again. «Demon Slayer» returns!

As ProSieben MAXX reports, a return of the anime series is already planned for June 10, 2022 «Demon Slayer». From now on, the 1st season from 2019 should enrich the anime night and will be watched on Saturday night at around 00:45 a.m. The episodes can also be found in the broadcaster’s media library shortly after they are broadcast.

The 1st season of «Demon Slayer» was created in 2019 by the Japanese animation studio Ufotable produced and consists of 26 episodes. The manga series was published from 2016 to 2020 and is now complete.

What is Demon Slayer about?

Man-eating demons are up to mischief in the nearby forest. The local residents no longer dare to go out at night. Legend has it that one day a demon slayer will come to hunt down and kill these bloodthirsty demons. This soon becomes a reality for young Tanjirou, who has made it his mission to provide for his family since the death of his father. Tanjirou’s life changes completely when his entire family is slaughtered. Although his sister Nezuko survived, she turned into a demon. Tanjirou begins fighting evil and for the life of his sister Nezuko.
