#Princess Connect Game’s Global Version To Crossover With Re: Zero This Month

“Princess Connect Game’s Global Version To Crossover With Re: Zero This Month”

The global version of the Princess Connect! Re: Dive mobile game is set to crossover with Re: Zero -Starting Life in Another World- in a special collaboration. The event will run from May 2, 11PM UTC to May 15, 10.59PM UTC.

As part of the event, several heroines from the Re: Zero anime will be available as playable characters through various means. Emilia and Rem can be obtained through their Focus Gacha with boosted rates or can alternatively be redeemed with character points, while Rem’s sister Ram is a free, Normal difficulty Boss battle reward from the “Re: Zero -Sharing Lunch in Another World-” story event. Emilia and Rem will be limited characters, and thus will not join the regular Premium Gacha rotation when their Focus Gacha ends.

The “Re: Zero -Sharing Lunch in Another World-” story event will tackle the Re: Zero cast’s arrival in Princess Connect!‘s Astraea and features “unique, exclusive” bosses. The bosses can be tackled in Normal, Hard, and the Very Hard difficulties, the last of which can only be cleared once a day. Notably, non-lethal damage dealt to bosses will carry over between each attempt, giving players the option to grind down challenging bosses through repeated attempts. To fight these bosses, players will have to first spend Boss Tickets that are obtained from clearing event stages and from event login bonuses. Players will have their efforts rewarded with victory Medals, equipment, and other rewards.

There will be an additional Special difficulty boss as well, which features “unique challenges and mechanics that will challenge you in new ways across three different modes.” The story mode also teases appearances from other Re: Zero characters, with one promotional image showing Emilia and Rem battling against Petelgeuse Romanée-Conti.

Aside from the story event and characters, the Princess Connect!Re: Zero crossover will see increased experience rates for Event Quests and the return of the Victory Medal Gacha. “Clearing event stages, event missions, and defeating the previously mentioned bosses will earn you Victory Medals, which can be exchanged for a plethora of goodies you might death-ire,” explains publisher Crunchyroll‘s post on the event. “There’s a predetermined series of reward lineups, each featuring a death-ignated key reward – once you roll the current lineup’s key reward, you’ll have the opportunity to either reset the rewards and move ahead to the next lineup, or hold off on resetting to clear out all the possible rewards.” Memory Shard sets for Ram and Princess Connect!‘s Suzume are offered as part of the gacha’s reward lineups.

For the full run-down of the crossover event and its story/gacha periods, as well as various non-crossover features that will show up during the same month, the details are available at Crunchyroll’s website.
