#Prince Andrew allegedly pushed for Epstein to get ‘favorable’ plea deal

Prince Andrew is accused in newly released documents of lobbying federal prosecutors to get Jeffrey Epstein a more “favorable” plea deal in his 2007 prostitution case.

The accusation came in a slew of previously sealed court papers released Thursday in Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre’s since-settled defamation case against alleged Epstein madam Ghislaine Maxwell, 58.

Two other victims, only identified as Jane Doe #1 and #2, were seeking the release of documents that they believed would prove that the 66-year-old dead pedophile “used his powerful political and social connections to secure a favorable plea deal.”

Specifically, the women said the documents would show: “Epstein’s lobbying efforts to persuade the Government to give him a more favorable plea arrangement and/or non-prosecution agreement, including efforts on his behalf by Prince Andrew and former Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz,” according to the court papers from 2015.

The two women filed a lawsuit against the government claiming their rights as victims were violated when the multi-millionaire hedge-funder was given a secret sweat-heart plea deal for sex with minors without their knowledge or input.

A friend of the Duke of York told The Post on Thursday of the lobbying claim: “This allegation is a straightforward untruth. No ifs, no buts.”

The papers were included as evidence in Giuffre’s case against Maxwell, a British socialite and alleged Epstein madame. Giuffre has claimed she was Epstein’s former “sex slave” and that Maxwell forced her to have sex with Prince Andrew. The royal has denied the allegation.

Maxwell was arrested July 2 on federal criminal charges that she lied in her deposition in Giuffre’s case and groomed young girls for sex, and has pleaded not guilty.

Epstein killed himself in a Lower Manhattan jail cell last August as he was awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges.
