#Vera Wang, 74, Models White One-Piece and Bling in Rare Swimsuit Photos

Vera Wang is known for her elegant red carpet gowns, but she also likes to get down with a sexy swim look. 

The bridal designer, 74, recently commemorated the unofficial start of summer in a chic bathing suit, which obviously called for a few Instagram outfit-of-the-day photos taken in the Hamptons.

In the post, shared on May 27, Wang models a white square-neck one-piece with spaghetti straps. She’s also quite literally decked out in head-to-toe bling with statement drop earrings that hang down to her collarbones, a sparkly cuff bracelet and bejeweled sandals.

Oversize sunglasses from Vera Wang Eyewear tied the look together and really upped the glam factor, as did her signature black mane, which Wang kept in a straight down hairstyle.

“My Slim Aarons moment,” Wang wrote in the post’s caption, referencing the famed photographer who was known for his poolside images. “Happy Summer!” she added.

Sharon Stone, who also loves a sexy swimsuit moment, hyped up Wang in the comment section by leaving her a cheeky heart-eyes emoji.

In 2023, Wang spoke to PEOPLE about aging, particularly in response to all the disbelieving comments she received after she shared a photo of herself wearing an abs-baring sports bra and looking beyond ageless in her seventies.

“I guess it’s just that people have an idea of what 70 looks like today. I have so many friends that are 65 to 70 that look fabulous. But I have to say that hopefully, it’s a good thing. I hope it makes women feel more comfortable with themselves.”

Looking fabulous is nothing out of the ordinary for Wang, who also puts together a glamorous birthday look every June 27. Case in point: in 2022, she celebrated her 73rd in a blush pink dress, matching micro shorts, silver platform heels and pink highlights in her hair.

When PEOPLE spoke with Wang at the Fashion Scholarship Fund Gala on April 8, she admitted that she didn’t have party plans for her 75th in the works yet — except for knowing that she will have a birthday cake to commemorate the occasion.
