#Prankster interrupts hearing on NYPD disciplinary records, orders corn dog

Some people are hungry for justice — but this guy just wanted a corn dog.

A prankster Skype-bombed a federal court hearing over whether the city can publish disciplinary records of NYPD officers to order the deep-fried treat.

“I’ll have a corndog,” an unknown man exclaimed on the Skype call Tuesday afternoon with more than 100 people. “Just a bite.”

Federal Court Judge Katherine Polk Failla rolled with the outburst, calling the person “inconsiderate,” while adding that her trial on Monday was interrupted multiple times by meowing cats.

The remote hearing — which also cut out for at least 15 minutes after the outburst — was in response to the NYPD’s Police Benevolent Association’s lawsuit to bar Mayor Bill de Blasio from posting a public database of complaints of police misconduct.

Failla temporarily blocked the release of the disciplinary records last week over the legal challenge and ordered the New York American Civil Liberties Union to not release any records already obtained through the states’ Freedom of Information Law.

Over the weekend, ProPublica dropped a massive trove of disciplinary records in a searchable database as the release was bogged down in courts.

The NYCLU was released from its temporary restraining order by the judge but she gave the PBA 24 hours to appeal.

State lawmakers repealed the controversial 50-a law among a package of police reform bills in early June.
