Ever since it was launched in 2016, Pokémon Go’s popularity has only increased, mostly owing to good reasons but sometimes owing to infamous incidents as well. The fact remains, it is one of the most trending games all over the world and every player wants to collect as many Pokémon as possible. Well to all such Pokémon strainers, we bring good news as spotlight hour of some rare Pokémon is about to begin.

Shellos Spotlight Hour

Without wasting any time, here is what it is. The East Sea Shellos Spotlight hour took place between 6 PM and 7 PM today i.e., 10^th August 2021. During this hour, the regional Pokémon appeared frequently in the game globally and it responds more frequently to Incense. It even popped up in normally inactive spawn points for players to catch it with ease.

So, if you are indeed a fan of a game and a skilled trainer, you should have East Sea Shellos Pokémon by now. If not, don’t worry as you can still catch some new Pokémon for sure this month. Here’s why. This Spotlight Hour was just one of the 4 which have been announced by Niantic.

The next Spotlight Hour is on 17^th August 2021 for West Sea Shellos Pokémon. This will be available to players residing in the Western Hemisphere of the globe. So, people of the West, the time to catch a brand-new Sea Shellos.

West Sea Shellos Spotlight Hour

People from the Eastern Hemisphere have already enjoyed the perk and now it’s time for West Sea Shellos Spotlight Hour. It will be held on 17^th August 2021 from 6 pm to 7 pm local time. In the event, West Sea Shellos will be in the spotlight, and you’ll earn twice the Candy for catching Pokémon.

West Sea Shellos is just the pink-colored version of East Sea Shellos. Shellos is a Water Pokémon that is vulnerable to Grass and Electric moves. Its strongest moveset is Mud-Slap & Water Pulse and it has a Max CP of 1,136. Here’s what you should remember if you want to catch it during the spotlight:

You must wait to clean out storage as if you transfer your Pokémon during the Spotlight Hour, you will be rewarded with double the candy.
Use Lucky Egg and Star Piece if they are readily available. The spawn rates would be high, so you’ll have a chance to earn double the XP and Stardust.
Capture more of them and trade them with other trainers. They are regional Pokémon and during the spotlight hour, they will be abundant. So, catch them more and trade them off for a good price.

After the West Sea Shellos Spotlight hour, two more spotlight hours will occur in the following two weeks. Skwovet will be in the spotlight on 24^th August 2021, and Wooloo will be in the spotlight on 31^st August 2021. Go, catch ‘em all!
