#AMD Ryzen New Processors Coming Soon!
In the world of gaming when it comes to processors, AMD Ryzen processors are one of the best in the business. They are your gaming laptops’ perfect companions and ensure high FPS smooth and fast gaming. For the technology geeks, we have some exciting news regarding a new set of chips AMD is planning to release soon. You must be familiar with the Ryzen 5000 HS series chips, right? Well, the information we have pertains to them.

AMD Ryzen 5000 HS Creators Edition

That’s right, two new AMD Ryzen 5000 HS Creators Edition chips are about to arrive soon. Lenovo’s product pages for the Yoga Slim 7 Pro unknowingly revealed the Ryzen 9 5900HS and Ryzen 7 5800HS Creator Edition processors. They are currently unannounced by AMD but we can definitely rely on any information on Lenovo’s official site. Before we get into details first check out the specifications of these new processors and their regular counterparts.

Processor Cores / Threads Base / Boost Clocks (GHz) L3 Cache (MB) TDP (W)
Ryzen 9 5900HS Creator Edition 8 / 16 3.3 / 4.6 16 35
Ryzen 9 5900HS 8 / 16 3.0 / 4.6 16 35
Ryzen 7 5800H 8 / 16 3.2 / 4.4 16 45
Ryzen 7 5800HS Creator Edition 8 / 16 3.2 / 4.4 16 35
Ryzen 7 5800HS 8 / 16 2.8 / 4.4 16 35

What’s Different?

  • As you can see from the table above, these new creator edition chips will be much faster than their regular counterparts. This is mostly because of improved clock speeds. The Ryzen 9 5900HS Creator Edition has a 3.3 GHz base clock which is 300 MHz higher than the regular Ryzen 9 5900HS chip. This is a straight 10% increase that will greatly boost the clock speed.
  • Similarly, The Ryzen 7 5800HS Creator Edition has a 3.2 GHz as opposed to the 2.8 GHz on the Ryzen 7 5800HS. This is a whopping 400 MHz higher than regular chips, featuring a 14% boost. Also, as you can probably note, Ryzen 7 5800HS Creator Edition is basically just like the Ryzen 7 5800H with a 10W lower TDP.
  • The rest of the specifications are the same as the regular counterparts of the chips with an eight-core, 16-thread configuration, 16MB of L3 cache, and 35W TDP. These chips will be found in the ultra-thin devices, among which Lenovo’s Yoga Slim Pro is all but confirmed. We do not have any idea about the prices; hence, we cannot tell whether the creator edition chips are worth it or not.
