Shopping for a Thunderbolt 4 hub is kind of a crapshoot right now. Even if a hub works as advertised, it may contain a ton of unnecessary ports, or it may not come with certified USB-C TB4 cables. That’s why Plugable is launching the TBT4-HUB3C, a small, no-nonsense Thunderbolt 4 hub that comes packed with everything you need for a perfect desktop setup.

The Plugable TBT4-HUB3C features a simple, slim design. There’s a power input, a TB4 port that provides 60-watt passthrough charging for your laptop, and three additional TB4 ports for displays and USB accessories. You can these ports to run two 4K displays, transfer data from an external drive at 40GBps, attach USB devices to your computer, or charge your phone at 15 watts.

And unlike some other manufacturers, Plugable actually provides a TB4 cable and USB-C to HDMI adapter with its hub. That saves you the trouble of digging through Amazon to try and find a cable that actually supports TB4 or previous standards—it’s harder than you’d think!

Along with the new TB4 hub, Plugable now sells 3.2-foot TB4 cables for $34. The company also sells a longer 6.4-foot version for $60. While I wouldn’t call these cables “affordable,” they’re competitively priced when compared to other TB4 cables. (Also, finding long Thunderbolt cables is kinda difficult. It’s nice to see Plugable release one that’s 6.4 feet long.)

You can save $15 on the Plugable TBT4-HUB3C today when ordering through Amazon, bringing the price down to $174 (click the in-store coupon to get this deal). Plugable is also offering discounts on its new TB4 cables, which retail for $34 or $60 depending on their length.
