Kicking off the evening’s fun are Season 19’s Top 20 who serenade viewers with the holiday classic “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” Gearing up for the night’s performances, coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Blake Shelton, and Gwen Stefani reflect on their team members’ journeys with host Carson Daly.

What follows is a flurry of performances beginning with Nelly and Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard who sing their collaborative tune “Lil Bit.” Lewis Capaldi was also among the lineup, performing his hit “Before You Go.” The next stars on the roster include 24KGoldn and Iann Dior who entertain with their record “Mood.”

In a break between all-star performances, Team Kelly’s Desz prepares for the holidays with her coach by decorating trees on the show’s set and teasing their performance of “I’m Every Woman.” Their duet brings the house down as they grace The Voice stage for a stunning rendition Chaka Khan’s classic.

In a silly segment, John celebrates the benefits of his prop hand used to connect with his team members throughout the season. Lauren Daigle brings a more serious tone to the evening when she enters the stage next for a performance of her tune “You Say.”

Jason DeRulo brought his own flair to the show with a performance of two songs from his festively decorated home. The epic moment is followed by a performance from the Johns — Legend and Holiday — who stole the stage with their rendition of Simon & Garfunkle’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”

Before welcoming Dan + Shay for a special presentation of their original holiday song “Take Me Home for Christmas,” Kelly gave viewers a less than stellar gingerbread house building tutorial. Finally it was Team Blake’s turn for their duets with Shelton pulling double duty with Ian Flanigan on Willie Nelson’s “Mammas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys” and Jim Ranger on Buck Owens and Dwight Yoakam’s “Streets of Bakersfield.”

Before the evening’s celebration comes to a conclusion Keith Urban and P!nk perform their tune “One Too Many” with the help of some great projector technology. Finally it was time for the reveals to take place, coming in fifth place is Team Legend’s John Holiday, Team Kelly’s Desz comes in fourth place trailing behind third place’s Ian Flanigan from Team Blake.
