Three Penn State football players were arrested after LSD and marijuana was found in their on-campus apartment, university police said.

Sophomore running back Devyn Ford and redshirt offensive linemen Sal Wormley and Caedan Wallace were busted on Aug. 2 as officers responded to a fire alarm at their apartment, where marijuana was strewn “all over the floor,” according to an affidavit of probable cause obtained by the Centre Daily Times.

Campus cops also detected a “very potent” smell of marijuana emanating from the apartment and two tabs of LSD were found in Ford’s room, police said.

More marijuana was found in Wormley’s room, while cops found a glass pipe with pot residue in Wallace’s room, police said.

The trio were charged Monday. It’s unclear if they have hired attorneys, the newspaper reports.

Ford, 19, is facing one count each of possession of a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Wormley, also 19, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, while the 20-year-old Wallace is facing one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia, the newspaper reports.

All three are due to appear for a preliminary hearing on Sept. 20.

Officials from Penn State’s athletic department confirmed they are aware of the charges facing Ford, Wormley and Wallace in a statement to The Post.

“These alleged actions do not reflect the values and standards of our program and will be addressed,” the statement read. “We will not comment any further as this is an ongoing legal matter.”

The Big Ten and Pac-12 have postponed fall sports like football until the spring due to COVID-19 concerns and more than 3,000 football games have been canceled or postponed in NCAA’s Division I, II and III as of Monday, according to an Associated Press analysis.
