#’Peanuts’ will be broadcast for the holidays — thanks, Apple!

Kudos to the folks at Apple TV+ for sharing the Peanuts joy: Though they’d bought exclusive rights to all the iconic Charlie Brown holiday specials, they’ve now agreed to let two of the classics air on PBS this year.

“A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” will broadcast Sunday night, Nov. 22; “A Charlie Brown Christmas” on Sunday, Dec. 13.

To be fair, the streaming platform was also offering free access to each show for three days in the run-up to their respective holidays, so no one had to subscribe to view any of the shows.

But families with no internet access were still out of luck — and so missed out on “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” this Halloween.

But now Apple’s relented — good for them.

So, while we’re still facing a holiday season of limited travel, quarantined loved ones and outlawed parties, separated families can still share an old tradition by tuning in to forget about this year’s chaos and enjoy the nostalgia of a “Peanuts’” holiday.
