Silver and Black have posted a sordid history in this neighborhood. Pats bounce back from a tough Seahawks beat, for one unit.

ARIZONA CARDINALS (-5.5) over Detroit Lions

There’ll likely be a 0-2 NFL side or two that awakens on this card — but we’re not looking to isolate the Lions as one of ’em. The Washington Football Team was in a half-decent spot last week but got laid out by Kyler Murray’s revitalized Cards in a game which wasn’t as close as the final score indicated. Lions coach Matt Patricia is broadly regarded as the first likely to be canned. Cat’s prime fear is the backdoor — but Cards should maintain surge in the desert, for one unit.
