#Paige Spiranac posts ‘nasty’ proof of boozy run-in with college roommate

Paige Spiranac prefers to pack a punch on social media.

While discussing the difficulty levels of sports during Monday’s episode of her “Playing A Round” podcast, Spiranac spoke about boxing before strolling down memory lane, recalling a past tussle with her college roommate.

“I am not a violent person,” the 27-year-old said. “We’ll loosely use that term fight because I did not participate in it, I just got completely destroyed by one punch.”

Spiranac recollected how her roommate, a 5-foot-10, 190-pound softball player, had called the golfer to pick her up after a night out of drinking.

“I get her in the car and she was totally fine. We drive back, and all of a sudden, we park right in front of our house … and she like passed out, I have to get her from the car, up a small flight of stairs, into her room and change her,” Spiranac said, noting others helped with the process at times.

Though Spiranac got her roommate out of the car — “she just face-plants in the grass” — the golfer briefly left to get things set-up inside their home.

“All the sudden I come back out and I go to lift her up, and she just sprints straight into her room and shuts the door. And again, she’s blacked out, she has no idea what’s going on,” Spiranac detailed.

Fearful something bad could happen based on her roommate’s condition, Spiranac said she banged on the door and ultimately met a painful greeting.

“I’m like, ‘Open the door, open the door,’ and she thought I was one of her ex-boyfriends, and so she opens the door and decks me as hard as she possibly could,” Spiranac claimed. “I woke up the next day with a massive black-eye.”

The roommate is said to have asked Spiranac the next morning about what had happened to her face.

“I had to go to practice and school the next day,” Spiranac said, adding professors were concerned about her well-being.

“They were really worried for me, they’re like, ‘Hey, do you need to talk to someone? Do you need to do anything?’ And I’m like, ‘No, thank you so much, but I just have a psycho roommate,” she continued.

Although Spiranac experienced bruising at the time, as her roommate allegedly “caught the side of [her] face,” the situation itself left another kind of mark.

“I felt really bad-ass, that was the only fight I have ever been in and I lost,” Spiranac said.

The influencer added she’s “not the fighting type.”

“I’ve never had the reaction when I’ve been really mad to punch someone or slap someone or hurt someone,” she said.

On Tuesday, Sprianac posted a photo of her black eye to Instagram, writing: “Was not lying about it leaving a nasty bruise.”

For her freshman year of college, Spiranac played golf at the University of Arizona in 2011. She later transferred to San Diego State.
