The official Twitter account for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba revealed on September 19 that theatergoers in Japan will be given a limited-edition manga when they see Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba THE MOVIE Mugen Train in cinemas in Japan.

The 84-page booklet will feature a story from manga creator Koyoharu Gotouge, titled 'Rengoku Volume 0', which follows the flame Hashira on his first mission as a Demon Slayer, and interviews will the staff and cast of the film, along with a full cast/staff list. The booklet will see a "limited" print run of 4.5 million copies and will be on a first-come, first-serve basis in theaters across Japan.
To put how massive of a print run that is into perspective, when a One Piece volume is released, the series only sees a print run of around 3 million copies, and it's the manga with the highest print run of all time. If the books run out, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba THE MOVIE Mugen Train will have sold around 8 billion yen (US$76.5 million) worth of movie tickets, making it the 12th highest-grossing anime film of all time in Japan.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba THE MOVIE Mugen Train is scheduled to arrive in Japanese theaters on October 16, with a western release to follow in 2021 from Aniplex of America and Funimation.
