Shueisha has revealed the first character sketches for the new “One Piece” film via Twitter.

The brand new film “One Piece: Red” is due to appear in Japanese cinemas on August 6, 2022. This is produced under the direction of Gorou Taniguchi (including Code Geass). Now a few days ago the first character designs of the straw hat gang for the film were published. We’ll show you some sketches from the publication below.

The cast of the planned Netflix real series for “One Piece” was also shown at the announcement event. The actors are apparently pretty hot for the real series and can hardly wait for filming to finally start.

The last movie was a great success

The last feature film (No. 14), “One Piece Stampede”, was shown in cinemas in Japan in the summer of 2019 and grossed over 93 million US dollars worldwide. This year the anime series also celebrated its 1000th episode! On Amazon.de there is now the 27th German TV box of “One Piece” Buy Blu-ray in HD which contains episodes 805 through 828.
