#Ohio professor says he’s being ‘censored’ over class about Marxism

A professor at a public college in Ohio claims he’s being censored because the administration will only let him teach a class critical of Marxism to honor students, according to reports.

“Clearly, it’s all just censorship,” Wright State economics professor Evan Osborne told Fox News.

“I have proposed several electives. All have been approved, not going against the sacred beliefs of the radical wing of our department.”

His course, “Marxism: A History of Theory and Practice” will only be available to honors students, despite Osborne’s request that it be open to all students on the Dayton campus.

“The honors class … sharply limits who can take it,” Osborne told Fox News. “The biggest damage is being done to students in business, in the college of economics. Most of them are not honors students … They deserve to hear.”

He said he was barred from teaching the class to the general student population because of complaints from other faculty.

“We have an angry, radical-left cohort in the department, they praise Marxism in the classroom,” he told The College Fix, a conservative news website focused on higher education, which first reported on his predicament.

“They will not let me teach critically about it,” Osborne told the website.

Wright State didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment from The Post.
